Inclement weather forces date postponement by a week

The two-day smart EQ fortwo e-cup rallycross test scheduled for this weekend at the Maggiora track has been postponed by seven days due to inclement weather. The new date is therefore Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 February.

Last weekend's heavy snowfall covered the Maggiora (NO) track, making it spectacular to see but unfortunately impracticable. In view of the inclement weather forecast for next weekend, the organisers of the smart EQ fortwo e-cup were forced to postpone the scheduled event by a week in order to ensure the best possible experience for all participants.

Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 February will be dedicated to all those who want to experience the thrill of the 100% electric power of the peppery racing smart cars.

The formula remains unchanged: a total of 12 laps divided into three runs of four laps each, exactly the distance of three heats of the Italian Rallycross Championship. The cost, decidedly affordable, is only 200 € + VAT per round.
Places are limited, so booking is important.

As a reminder, in 2019 the smart EQ fortwo e-cup will make its debut in the rallycross world in grand style, thanks to its title of ACI Sport Energie Alternative Italian Championship.
