Round 4 scheduled for 16/17 July

It will be the Castelletto Circuit that will host the 4th round of the Italian Rallycross Championship, scheduled for the weekend of 16/17 July at the Lombardy venue, already the scene last year of very spectacular and entertaining tests.

Actually, the actual race will only be on Sunday, as Saturday will be dedicated to free practice.

The track is unchanged from the last round in 2021 and will be 1,280 m long (1,310 m on lap 1), divided into 70% tarmac and 30% gravel, with a rather short Joker Lap: 70 metres.

The Castelletto di Branduzzo event will be a fundamental step for the Championship, as it will have a 1.5 coefficient and will therefore bring many points. It will also be valid for the FIA CEZ (Central European Zone) Championship and will therefore also see several international drivers at the start, to the benefit of spectacularity.

Since the race will be held entirely on Sunday, there will only be three Qs instead of the usual four.

Free practice will then be held on Saturday 16 July from 17.00 to 19.00.

Below is the programme for Sunday 17 July:

  • 8.30 Q1 (4 laps)
  • 11.00 Q2 (4 laps)
  • 13.30 Q3 (4 laps)
  • 16.00 Semifinals (6 laps)
  • Followed by Finals (6 laps)

There is a single admission ticket of € 15.00 for Sunday: children aged 0 to 3 years will enter free of charge.
