The echoes of the spectacular night Round 3 in Adria have not yet faded away and the ACI Sport Italian Rallycross Championship is about to live another important moment: on the weekend of 31/8 - 1/9 in Melk, Austrian town of 5.300 inhabitants located about 90 km from Vienna and famous for its abbey, in the prestigious Wachauring venue, Round 4 will be held.

The Austrian track has, in its rallycross configuration, a length of 1360 metres (+ 140 Joker Lap) and is characterised by almost 500 m of gravel.

The Wachauring races will also be valid for the Austrian and Czech Republic championships; in addition to the categories always present in the Italian Championship - Supercar, Super1600 and Kartcross - the Supertouring Cars 1600, 2000- and 2000+ categories, Mascom Cup (Czech Kartcross Championship), Austrian National 1600 Championship, Czech Republic National 1600 Championship and Czech Republic Historic Car Championship will also be at the start.

All drivers, therefore also non-Italian ones, at the start in the Supercar, Super1600, Kartcross and Supertouring categories, will take points for the Tricolore RX, being an Open Championship: therefore, in the Supertouring categories, usually not very crowded, there is the possibility that the title of Italian Champion goes beyond the Alps!
