Great expectations for the first time in Castelletto di Branduzzo
A little more than two weeks to the second round of the Italian Rallycross Championship: the weekend of 8/9 May will see the big debut of the brand new RX track built inside the Castelletto Circuit in Castelletto di Branduzzo (PV).
The track will be about 1,400 m long, mostly asphalt - the percentages are 70/30 - and characterized by the passage inside the oval of the Lombard circuit; a complete track, with at least a couple of climbs, fast and where the driving ability of the drivers will be enhanced.
The rankings
STC, Castoral so far clear-cut
After the first round, the Czech Roman Castoral (Opel Astra OPC) is in the lead with 24 points; in second place is Franco "Frenk" Fusi (Renault Clio) with 20 points, while in third position Matteo Valazza (Citroen Saxo) and Ettore Barberis (Honda Civic) are tied with 17 points.

Kartcross, Gallo in the lead, but what a tussle!
Round 1 winner Marcello Gallo (Lifelive TN5) leads this spectacular category with 36 points. Behind him, on 31 points, is Matteo Grieco with his GMN, while in third position are the aggressive Marco Berniga (Planet Kart) and Kobe Pauwels (Lifelive TN5) on 27 points. The latter is also leading the Under 18 RX ACISPORT Trophy.
