Italian Rallycross Championship: time for Sardinia!

This is it: on Saturday and Sunday the Italian Rallycross Championship will return to the Ittiri Rally Arena circuit for a truly adrenaline-filled weekend!

RX5/Supercar

After the great show offered by the Rx5s in Round 1 there is great expectation for the Tricolor's queen category: leader Simone Romagna (Skoda Fabia Evo R5) will surely want to follow up on his monstrous performance in Pasquetta, but Gianmarco Donetto (Skoda Fabia R5) and Jenni Sonzogni (Skoda Fabia R5), second and third in Maggiora, will surely want to make up for it: Italian Vice Champion Fabio Mezzatesta (Hyundai i20 R5) eager for revenge after finishing fourth in Round 1, and rookies Rosario Montalbano and Giafranco Pes complete the starting list.

In Supercars, Round 1 winner Marco Noris, back at the wheel of his beloved Mitsubishi Lancer, will try to stretch further in the standings, opposed by Gianluca Leoni, also at the wheel of a Lancer.

Supertouring Cars

Could not miss, in the STC - 1600, the enfant du pays Valentino Ledda (Peugeot 208 R2), fresh from his victory in Round 1. With him will be at the start Armando Tocchio (Peugeot 106), already excellent second in Maggiora, and the debutants Gian Matteo Bechere (Peugeot 106), Nicola Pes (Clio S1600), Luca San na (Fiat 127), Salvatore Sanna (Fiat Uno).

Kartcross

Round 1 winner Riccardo Canzian (Speedcar Xtreme) is the favorite in the category, which will also feature Under 18 Nicola Morlacchi (Planet Kart K3), on the third step of the podium in Maggiora, fellow U18s Marcus Antonio Martinelli (GMN) and Matteo Bernini (Lifelive TN5), brothers Nicolò and Matteo Grieco (GMN), Salvatore Vigliarolo (Speedcar Xtreme), Christian Rotundo (GMN), Giacomo Formiconi (KC) and rookie Felice Salaris (KC).

The programme

Round 2 on Saturday will be held on the classic track, located in Ittiri (SS), and will have Coefficient 2; Round 3 on Sunday will be held on the Ittiri track in Reverse conformation.
